The Risk Management Agency (RMA) has set the Harvest Prices for Oat, Barley, and Wheat. The Harvest Prices are different for each state. The most common prices and states are shown in this chart. You can find any price at this link or contact your Risk Management Advisor.
Oat, barley, and wheat prices were set after the Discovery Period of August 1st, 2023 through August 31st, 2023. Winter Wheat was set on Sept 17th and is a separate discovery period.
The Harvest Price is important to help determine if a loss situation is going to occur. The insurance payout is determined by comparing the Harvest Price to the Projected Price established at the start of the policy period.
