USDA has extended the application deadline and increased the payment factor for eligible producers to the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP).
The original SDRP application deadline of April 30, 2026, has been extended to August 12, 2026, for both SDRP Stage 1 and Stage 2. USDA stated the extension is intended to give producers and FSA more time to address application changes that could impact payments.
USDA also announced that the SDRP payment factor is increasing from 35% to 70%. Producers with approved applications who already received an initial SDRP payment factored at 35% are expected to receive an additional 35% of their calculated SDRP payment. USDA also stated that future SDRP payments will be made using the 70% payment factor.
