Dallas Center, IA — At the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois, this week, MS Technologies and Syngenta announced an exciting new soybean trait technology. Set to launch in 2029 pending regulatory approval, the trait package combines the GT27 and Enlist E3 platforms to give growers a new option to tackle tough weeds.

This powerful and first-of-its-kind combination provides tolerance to glyphosate, glufosinate, 2,4-D choline and multiple HPPD inhibitor herbicides, including mesotrione, isoxaflutole and bicyclopyrone. Stine Seed Company will be one of the first seed companies to market this new technology commercially once it is available.

Myron Stine, Stine Seed Company president says, “We’re thrilled to partner with MS Technologies and Syngenta to deliver this innovative new trait technology to growers. At Stine we had a leadership role in the introduction of both of these trait technologies, so we are excited to see them paired together in a new trait stack which will unlock even more options for soybean growers.”

The new trait technology builds on the proven success of the Enlist E3 trait platform and now adds HPPD inhibitor tolerance which enables a highly flexible early-season herbicide strategy, especially in cases of delayed planting or seed changes.
