Agri Marketing magazine reports:

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” the sale of all tractors during May 2025, in the U.S. were down 12% from the same month last year.

In May, a total of 21,192 tractors were sold which compares to 24,056 sold in 2024.

For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 11% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 6%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 30%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 39%.

Combine sales in April totaled 317 down 21% from last year.

For the year, tractor sales were down 11%. Smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 9%, while 40 and under 100 HP are down 26%. Sales of 4-wheel drive tractors are down 38%.

Combine sales totaled 1,253 through April which is 43% below 2024.
