The Agricultural Communicators Network (ACN), the national professional organization for communicators across the spectrum of ag media, is seeking proposals for executive management of the membership group effective Oct. 1.

ACN is a 105-year-old professional trade membership association representing editors, freelancers, public relations specialists, designers, photographers, corporate/organizational communications/PR managers and other focused on agricultural media/communications.

The membership association also manages its 501 (c)(3) Professional Improvement Foundation. It’s also one of the owners of the Agricultural Media Summit (AMS), the annual conference for professionals in ag communications. Other owners are the Livestock Publications Council and the ABM AgriMedia Council.

The deadline for written proposals is noon (central) on July 9, 2025.

Gardner has been a member of ACN (formerly AAEA) for 50 years and served as executive director from 2000-2016 before retiring.

With approximately 300 members, ACN is governed by an 11-person board of directors. Firms selected as finalists will be asked to make in-person presentations at the AMS on July 30 in Rogers, AR. The board will make its selection in the first half of August.
