The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that it would be delaying the release of the Agency’s new Herbicide Strategy by three months to August 30. In a note to stakeholders, EPA stated that the extension was needed to consider public comments and other input EPA continues to receive about implementing Endangered Species Act Mitigation measures.
Farm groups have expressed deep concern with the strategy as proposed.
