Agri Marketing magazine reports:

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s monthly “Flash Report,” total sales of all U.S. tractors during May 2024 were 24,026, down 12% from 2023.

For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 13% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 11%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 6%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 9%.

Total number of combines sold for the month were 401, down 18%.

For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 13% from 2023, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 8%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are down 2%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 3%.

Total number of combines sold for the year are 2,205 an decrease of 14% over the same period in 2023.
